Personnel Committee

The Personnel Committee was established 2020 and is responsible for overseeing staffing matters and ensuring that the Council meets its duties as an employer.

The committee holds two scheduled meetings each year, with additional meetings arranged when required.  It also reviews policies relating to staff and councillors and makes recommendations to the Finance & Governance Committee and the Parish Council.  Since May 2021, the committee has also been responsible for considering the Council’s Health and Safety matters.

While agendas and minutes are published, much of the committee’s work relates to individual employees and is therefore conducted in confidential sessions where appropriate.

The current members of the Personnel Committee are: Cllr David Boyle, Cllr Chris Cook, Cllr Neil Glendinning (Chair) & Cllr Alan Green.

For security reasons, copies of minutes published on this website do not include the Chair’s signature.  Signed copies are available to view at the Council Office.
